Project aimed at exploring the boundaries of Arabic letters as art.
During this 42-day competition, designers share their own vision and interpretation of each letter of the Arabic alphabet on social media. I decided to take up the challenge to experiment with materials since computers and digital technology have taken us too far from handwork.
Below are a couple of letters where I have attempted to select the appropriate materials depending on how I conceptualize the letter. Among the materials used were: Ink, dry brush, aluminum foil, liquid glue, tapes, charcoal powder, cardboards, torn paper, paper rolls, threads, and syringe.
